I know you haven't heard from me in about a million years but I'm still alive and still brewing. I started working a different shift because of family stuff so I work every tuesday. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on St. Stans. The new owner of St Stans is going to try to make it to the next club meeting. He said he will bring free beer. We also discussed opening up a brew day which all the club is invited to show up and brew on a much larger scale at the brewery. He wants to do a club contest where the best beer wins and gets to brew it at the brewery and have it on tap while it lasts.
I know the brewery in the past has fallen off the map but I feel pretty good about Mike. I've been in there a bunch the last couple of weeks and talked for hours to Mike. Pretty good guy and really wanting to get his name out there again.
Side note. if you go there, go to the St Stans side not Hero's because the lines are cleaner and beer is served at the right temp. So expect Mike to show up soon to a meeting and bring some kind offerings in the form of beer and brewing at his place. Support the local guy, their beer is much better than it's been in the past.
