This was the 2nd month I was unable to attend.  So, what happened?  Who won the "throwdown" winner for American Brown Ales (I'd like to hear all beer entries and places); and what is featured for Sept "throwdown" meeting?  What other business was attended to (other than Jim H's BBQ event)?

My work & life schedule is not cooperative (again!  Here goes another summer and family tragedy), and it feels like I've lost touch with all of you...  But, the phone works both ways, and you can always call me!  I have plenty beer on tap; and you are welcome for a visit and chat session.  I'm currently featuring Don Oliver IPA alongside my own homebrew.

As a club, we committed to doing more business online a while back- and I understand a lot falls on Mr Shaw to update the website...  But!  Any of us (members!) can post a new topic message to update those of us that could not attend meetings and would like to know info!  Please, share.  I want to see the club continue it's growth through hard times of lessening attendance.  When I can return; and other wayward members can also return- like Jim H.- we hope to see a thriving club functioning we can step right back into!

All of you!  You are the backbone of the Mashers.  Because some of our regulars fail to attend meetings; or because we cannot participate in National level events (like the NHC or soon to come NCHF) does not make us less of an entity...  It's about the sharing of good beer and beer info.  Learning from others about beer appreciation; and why a once despised style of beer really holds merits.  Sharing the real love of beer and our favorite drink.

I will always celebrate to share beer and knowledge with all of you!  You, the beer folk, are my adopted family.  And I love to spend time with family!

Yeah, it would really help if we can get a preview of what's on the agenda and a report out of what happened.  Not everybody can make every meeting (especially during the summer and holidays)  and we still want to be involved or at least feel involved and at the very least informed.

I'm finally on "that side" of being a club member...  And I agree and understand.  "Us" left out members don't get to participate in meetings for various reasons; but we do want to know what happened or is going to happen as a club entity.

As a club, we are "OK" at reporting, online what's going on; but "OK" is not good enough to retain and encourage us fringe members.  We want more!

Sounds like we need a secretary.
